Dudes in Distress

An AU where Wonder Woman, Lois Lane, and Selina Kyle have to team up to save Superman, Batman, and Steve Trevor. Oh yeah, and save the world too. A woman’s work is never done! 

High atop Gotham’s rooftops, Catwoman surveyed the expanse of the East End, looking for trouble. Feeling something or someone behind her, her senses up, she turned. 

“Nice panties.” She said with a smirk as she looked one of the two brunettes over. She recognized the second one instantly, how could she not. “And you brought the President. Listen, if this is about my taxes, never paid them before, don’t intend to start.” Selina was on alert now, ready to bolt at the first sign of trouble.

“Miss Selina Kyle,” Sparkly-Pants stepped forward. “We need your help.”

“Not sure who you’ve been talking to but helping, not exactly my style.” Her foot went closer to the edge. Her body was prepared to take the leap.

President Lane came to stand next to Sparkly-Pants. “Please. Just give us two minutes. There’s an object hurdling towards Earth. We’re not sure if it’s an asteroid or a spaceship.”

“So call Superman.” Selina said coolly.

“He’s missing.” Lois replied.

“Well, I didn’t steal him. I’m a thief but that’s not my style.”

Sparkly-Pants stiffened, speaking once more. “We are not accusing you. We have come for your assistance.”

“Like I said, I don’t play hero.” 

“They have Bruce.” 

When Sparkly-Pants said that, Selina stopped her retreat. Turning, she regarded the two women for a second with a frown. “Just don’t get any ideas. This is a one time thing. I better not be getting any invites from the Superhero Association or whatever. Not. A. Hero.”
